Effective redirections
In either the server on in the client side, proper placement of the link is vital for success of the link building.  Assuring this is possible using the HTTP header check.  If the site whether it is www or non-www, returns 200 in the check they need to be avoided.  Usually the non www version must return 301 and that would help you build up permanent redirect.
