3D animation can be called as an art in which you create moving images via computer. 3d computer graphics are divided into three phases: 3d modelling (in this the shape of the object is described), next is 3D animation (in this the placement and movement of objects is described) and the last is 3D rendering (in this the image of object is produced).
As compared to 2D animation in this all the frames are to be rendered at the completion of modeling. In 2D just the key frame is to be rendered and the other twined ones are rendered, if needed. To give pre-recorded presentation these rendered frames have to be changed to some different format like digital video or film.

While presenting it to end-user audience it can be rendered in real time. Before rendering an object it has to be placed in a scene. This is done through animation. Temporal description of the object is referred i.e., its movement and deformation over time. The popular methods are inverse kinematics, key framing and motion capture. Another way to specify motion is physical stimulation. When animation is used in films it is called CGI (Computer-generated imaging or computer generated imagery). To create 3D animations models are created on computer monitor and 3D figures, with virtual skeleton, are rigged.
Architects also take help from animation companies in order to create 3-D models for the customers and the builders. As compared to the traditional drawings it is much more accurate. Through this one can also see whether the building is going to be suitable for the surrounding environment and the other buildings. So if you want to go for 3D animation you should contact some qualified person for the same.
